8" Flat Lap Retro Fit Kit Key Features:

Allows you to use either 8" or 6" flat laps on your SwapTop Flat Lap Machine. - Grind and Polish Larger Pieces
The work surface and splash guard have been totally redesigned to allow access to the outermost edge of the disks which facilitates grinding and polishing of the largest possible pieces - Quick and Easy
Simply remove the original 6" flat lap work surface and install the 8" Retro Fit Kit surface.

- Allows for use of 8" or 6" laps
- Diamond Laps: Our 6" and 8" laps are replacement disks which you would use with a "Master lap" (casting). They have a 1/2" arbor hole for mechanically affixing to the master lap. Diamond laps are available in 60, 100, 170, 275, 325, 600, 1200, and 3000 grit diamond.
- Master Lap: 6" or 8" solid acrylic backer for smooth operation that can be used with any Flat Lap Machine having a 1/2" arbor.
- Polishing Pads: 6" or 8" (3 Pk) natural, no color added, wool felt for the best overall polishing pad. PSA backing for easy application and stay-put fit.
- SwapTop Came Saw Conversion Kit: 10" x 12" table housing with metal table insert, blade arbor, blade guard, 6 1/2" General Purpose Blade, allen wrench, and instruction guide. Inland no. 10665.
- SwapTop Glass Grinder Conversion Kit: Reservoir top, reversible grid surface, 1" (WB-9) standard grit diamond bit, BitSert™ with splash guard and complete instruction guide. Inland no. 10655.
- Polishing Compound: Inland no. 50037
- GrinderStation™: A free standing, three sided washable vinyl surround that helps contain overspray. Inland no. 50014.
- MotorShaft Lubricant™: A Teflon based lubricant that prevents tools from seizing on the motor shaft. Inland no. 50022.
