6" and 8" Diamond Flat Laps and Master Laps

6" and 8" diameter quality diamond replacement disks for use use with Inland  SwapTop™ Flat Lap Machines or any machine using a 6" or 8" Master Lap. 

Diamond Flat Lap Key Features:

• Available in a comprehensive series of grits for all your glass shaping and polishing needs: 60, 100, 170, 275, 325, 600,1200, and 3000 grit diamond.
• Use on any machine with a 1/2 inch arbor hole.
• Secured to a master lap by mechanically clamping them. They are not pressure sensitive backs.

Product Uses: 

• Grind and then polish fused, slumped and flame-worked pieces without returning them to a kiln or torch.
• Remove and polish out pontil marks from paperweights, perfume bottles, bowls, vases and other hot glass forms.
• Create glass cabochons from custom murrini and pattern bars for custom and unique design elements or jewelry pieces.
• Improve the fit of your glass or stone pieces for inlays and mosaic works
• Shape glass tiles and tesserae, smalti, and Venetian glass for mosaic work.
• Safety edge and polish glass pieces for projects like coasters, dishes, and wind chimes.
• Remove and polish out scratches from glass.
• Give all your pieces that professionally finished  look and feel
