| Trapezoids / Panel Lamps | Rulex™ makes it easy to cut or draw the
body, crown and skirt shapes commonly used in panel lamp construction. Because it reverses
(flips over) you can cut all the pieces for a single tier from one strip quickly and with less
waste. Because Rulex™ is reversible you can also use it right or left handed or to quickly
draw reverse angles.
First find the angle used for the piece in your pattern. You can measure the angle using a protractor and then set Rulex™ to that angle. You can also take the angle right off the pattern. Simply loosen your Rulex™, line it up with your pattern and then lock in place. You need to know the either the top or base dimension. For our example the top is 1” and the base is 6”. |
