User Instructions

Inland Antique Brass Patina creates a antique brass look to your soldered seams.

Safety

1. Avoid eye contact and skin contact
2. Do not inhale vapors or swallow
3. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
4. Do not freeze, store in a cool place.
5. Refer to MSDS for additional information

Instructions

1. It is a good idea to practice on a sample piece until you perfect your technique.
2. Thoroughly clean your project with a cleaner like Inland Flux Remover to remove all flux and cutting residues.
3. Scuff your solder seams by gently scrubbing with 0000 gauge steel wool. The surface should be clean and shiny.
4. Use a clean brush and apply the patina using a few strokes, as if you were painting, to your soldered seams until you achieve the desired finish. NOTE: Continued brushing or rubbing will produce a copper patina.
5. Rinse thoroughly under running water to remove excess patina.
6. Applying a finishing compound or wax to your patinated seams will help keep their color.
