User Instructions

Inland Black Patina creates a black finish on your solder or lead came.

Safety

1. Avoid eye contact and skin contact
2. Do not inhale vapors or swallow
3. Do not combine with chlorine bleach or other household cleaners.
4. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
5. Do not freeze, store in a cool place.
6. Refer to MSDS for additional information

Instructions

1. It is a good idea to practice on a sample piece until you perfect your technique.
2. Thoroughly clean your project with a cleaner like Inland Flux Remover to remove all flux and cutting residues. The surface should be clean and shiny. (You can use a fine 0000 gauge steel wool to remove oxidation from seams or lead came.)
3. Use a clean brush generously apply the patina, Continue brushing until the desired finish is achieved.
4. Rinse thoroughly under running water to remove excess patina.
5. Applying a finishing compound or wax to your patinated seams will help keep their color.
