PowerKitsPower Tool System
MainFrame™

Users Guide

Thank you for buying this Inland product. The PowerKits™ Systems' key benefit is that a single MainFrame™ and PowerUnit™ combine with any of the AddOn™ kits to create a complete line of wet or dry operating benchtop power tools. Start off with the basic machine you need now and expand your system as you desire without the expense of purchasing a complete machine each time. Inland makes dozens of accessories for use with your PowerKits™ system that further increase its versatility and affordability.

Safety

The MainFrame™
The MainFrame™ is the foundation of the PowerKits™ system. Interchangeable reservoirs, work surfaces and throat plates mount into the 6" x 7" opening to form the different machines.

MainFrame™ Assembly
Take a minute to check that you have all parts listed and then refer to the diagram and pictures for assembly. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver.

MainFrame™ Parts List

(1) - Grey Work Surface Top
(4) - Grey Table Legs
(8) - #10 x 3/4" Type 25 Self-Tapping Screws
(4) - Rubber Foot Pads

Assembly
Use 2 of the #10 x 3/4" Type 25 self-tapping screws to attach each leg to the work surface top. Apply one rubber foot pad to the bottom of each leg. For wet use, attach the drain tube provided to the drain nipple in the back left underside of the main work surface. The free end should be placed in a small can or basin. This drain is really a reserve drain, so it will not fill up with water quickly during normal use. Until you get a feel for the speed at which it fills, watch it closely. Over time, you will get a sense of how much water is there, and when it needs to be drained. There is really no further assembly required for the MainFrame™ itself. All other assembly steps would vary depending upon the AddOn™ Kits in use.

MainFrame™  Maintenance

  1. Rinse or wipe clean periodically to keep residue from accumulating in the surface drain channels.
  2. Keep the drain hole clear. Remove material by inserting a small dowel or bottle brush to clear out any dried glass residue clogging the drain.
