Glass Cutting Surface and Light Box
User Guide
The ScoreBox™ is the only light box designed for cutting glass. Its low profile design provides advantages of a conventional light box in a compact, portable and economical size. With the ScoreBox™ you can:
- Copy or trace patterns without using messy carbon paper.
- Cut/score glass on a durable, easy to work on surface which is replaceable.
- See pattern lines more easily and score more accurately with less fatigue.
- Compare glass colors, textures and opacities before you start cutting.
Instructions
Place your ScoreBox™ on a sturdy, level work surface and plug it into a standard electrical outlet. Then turn on the in-line switch and you are ready to go!
Maintenance
To minimize scratching, use a soft bristle brush to wipe the surface clean. The surface can also be cleaned as frequently as needed with household window cleaners.
Replacement Parts
Hi-Impact Scoring Surface — Inland no. 70008
- To replace the Scoring Surface or Fluorescent Light, unplug the ScoreBox™ first. Remove the four Phillips Head screws on the bottom of the ScoreBox™. Then lift off the Scoring Surface. Replace with the new Scoring Surface.
- To replace the Fluorescent Light remove the bolts and nuts holding the two U-shaped light fixture brackets. Then disconnect the Fluorescent Light from the fixture. Install the new light, secure the fixture. Place the Scoring Surface on the metal housing and fasten the four phillips head screws. You are now ready to use the ScoreBox™.
