1 - Wet/Dry™ Mini Table Saw
1 - Clear plastic throat plate and blade guard
1 - White plastic blade well
1 - Clear plastic hose for blade well drain
1 - 5" diameter CarbonTuff™ blade
1 - Blade arbor (with reverse screw and washer)
2 - allen wrenches (one large for arbor and one small for mounting blade arbor)
1 - Protractor
1 - Inland Motor Shaft Lubricant
2 - 6/32 flat head screws (for throat plate/blade guard mounting).

Step 1: Setting up your Wet/Dry™ blade

  1. Make sure the saw is off and unplugged before starting!
  2. The throat plate and blade guard are shipped upside down in the saw. Carefully remove them.
  3. Place the white plastic blade well in the saw with the bottom drain to the front of the saw so it passes through the hole in the housing.
  4. Referring to the drawing at right, mount the blade on the arbor and secure with the lock washer and reverse threaded socket head screw using the larger allen wrench. If you hold the blade with the socket screw facing you, the blade teeth should be pointing clockwise.
  5. Coat the motor shaft with Inland Motor Shaft Lubricant.
  6. Mount the blade/arbor on the motor shaft locating the arbor set screw on the flat of the shaft.
  7. Referring to the drawing on page 2, mount the throat plate/blade guard using the 2-6/32 flat head screws. Align the blade guard over the blade. Make sure the spring on the blade guard is operating. It should gently force the cover down into the throat plate.
  8. Plug in the saw. Turn it on and off quickly to assure the blade is mounted properly.
  9. Before beginning to saw, practice with scrap material to get a feel for the cutting action.
  10. The protractor is used as on any ordinary table saw. Loosen the black handle to set the desired angle

Step 2: About the Blades

Inland blades are hardened, carbon steel, .020" thick with a 1/2" arbor hole. Use CarbonTuff™ for sawing brass, copper and zinc cames, wood, plastics, leather; and "soft" nonferrous metals. Use DiamondTuff™ blades (optional) wet for sawing glass, ceramic, porcelain, marble and stone.

Step 3: Sawing Dry

  1. Place the protractor in the track located on the worktable. Loosen the thumb screw, select the cutting angle, and re-tighten. Place material being cut on the work surface, against the protractor.
  2. Use the protractor to slowly feed the material into the blade. The blade guard will rise as you saw. Do not "force" the sawing action.
  3. NEVER cut anything thicker than the blade height.
Step 4: Sawing Wet
  1. Saw "wet" only with an Inland DiamondTuff™ blade
  2. A sponge and placement instructions are packaged with each DiamondTuff™ blade. Follow the instructions included with the DiamondTuff™ blade for securing and positioning.
  3. Connect the clear plastic hose to the bottom of the plastic blade well. The hose should drain into an overflow cup or tray. It is designed to prevent the use of too much coolant.
  4. Pour approximately 2 oz. of coolant into the plastic blade well.
Saw Maintenance

Blade Well: After wet use, remove the sponge, clean and dry the reservoir.

Work Surface: Periodically wipe clean of residues.

Motor: The motor has no bearings to replace or grease. Maintain a thin coating of Inland Motor Shaft Lubricant or similar non-water soluble grease.

Blades: Replace worn blades immediately. Using a dull blade is dangerous. Replacement blades are available from your Inland Dealer for this and other saw brands:
