User Instructions

Inland Cement System is a unique formula that will strengthen and weatherproof your lead and metal came pieces. It is the final step to completing any lead or metal came project. Inland Cement System comes in Black used to darken lead came and give it a more aged appearance or Natural for use with copper, brass and zinc came or to preserve the natural color of lead came.

Safety

  1. Flammable mixture, do not use near fire or flame.
  2. Use only in a well ventilated area.
  3. Avoid inhaling vapors or skin contact. Irritant to skin and eyes.
  4. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using.
  5. Use a dust mask when working with whiting.
  6. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
  7. Do not freeze, store in a cool place.

Instructions
  1. Mix cement system thoroughly. Mixture should be the consistency of cake batter.
  2. Cover work surface with newspaper and lay panel flat on top.
  3. Pour a moderate amount of cement onto the panel and using a natural bristle brush, work the cement under all cames. Work in a direction perpendicular to the cames so you push it up and under. Add additional cement as needed.
  4. Turn panel over and repeat.
  5. Liberally sprinkle whiting over entire panel. Using a clean natural bristle brush work whiting over entire panel to remove excess cement. Work in a direction parallel to the cames to avoid removing the cement from under the cames.
  6. Turn panel over and repeat.
  7. Brush used whiting off panel and check for any remaining cement.
  8. Check panel while drying for cement seeping out from under cames. Promptly remove any cement with a fid. Carefully check and clean corners
  9. Allow panel to dry flat for at least 24 hours before installing in opening or adding support bars.
