User Instructions

The FaceShield™ is an acrylic shield that provides added protection against grinder and saw debris.

Please note that a FaceShield™ is not intended to protect your eyes. Always wear complete eye protection whenever working with tools.

Mounting Using the Wire Frame
The FaceShield™ comes with a wire mounting bracket for use with any of the current Inland machines including:

To mount your FaceShield™ place the Wire Mounting Bracket into the two locator holes found to the rear or your machine. Set the plastic lens into position on the small wire loop centered on the top of the Wire Mounting Bracket. You can adjust the position slightly by bending the Wire Mounting Bracket to best suit your needs.

Mounting Using the Post
You will need a plastic mounting post that fits into the grid surface if you plant to use this product on any of Inland's older model machines, including:

  • Wiz™
  • WizlingCG™
To receive a free plastic mounting post, call Inland Customer Service at 1-800-521-8428. Or you can e-mail us at helpdesk@inlandcraft.com. To temporarily support your FaceShield™ in one of these older style machines, you can insert the wire mounting bracket into the back corners of your open grid work surface.

Once you have the Plastic Mounting Post place the slotted end of the post under running cold water for about 30 seconds. This will temporality shrink the plastic and allow for easier insertion. Center the post directly behind the bit opening in the grid surface with the slotted opening lengthwise. Gently rock the mounting post while applying downward pressure until it is fully inserted into the holes in the grid surface. Set the plastic lens onto the peg end of the post.

Maintenance
Clean your FaceShield™ by removing it and running under clear, cool water after every use. In order to prevent scratching, avoid rubbing or wiping the surface.
